Who can participate in the Olympiad?
Students who are from 14 to 18 years old (age at the time of the Olympiad)

How to become a participant?
- Сheck-in and provide the following information and documents:
- the participant's country, region and/or city of residence;
- full name, date of birth, gender, contact phone number and email address of the participant;
- full name of the participant's legal representative (parent, guardian, trustee), his contact phone number and email address;
- consent to the Rules of the Olympiad, the User Agreement, and the Personal Data Protection and Processing Policy posted on the official website of the Olympiad;
- consent to the processing of personal data of a minor participant;
- consent to the processing of personal data of the participant's legal representative (parent, guardian, trustee).

What is CTF?
CTF (Capture The Flag) is an exciting cyber security competition where teams solve challenges to capture virtual flags and demonstrate their hacking and security skills

What are the main stages of the Olympiad?
The Olympiad consists of 3 stages:
- 02.04-18.04 – individual qualifying stage (online testing)
- 23.04-25.04 – team qualifying stage (Capture the Flag format online competition)
- 30.05-02.06 – The Final (Capture the Flag format team offline competition in Nizhny Novgorod)

What equipment will be needed?
A participant will need a computer with Internet access to log on to the platform where the main stages of the Olympiad will take place.

How much time will be given to complete the tasks of the online stages?
You can complete the tasks at your own pace. The main term is to meet the time interval specified in the timeline. Access to the tasks is opened automatically on the first day of the stage in your personal account on the Olympiad platform

How are the teams formed?
The participants independently form teams of up to 5 people. Each team can consist of representatives from one country (age does not matter). If the participants remain without a team after the distribution, the system will distribute them automatically.

When and where will the final stage of the Olympiad take place?
The final is scheduled from May 30 to June 3 in Nizhny Novgorod. The finalists of the Olympiad who scored the most points in the first two stages of the competition will be invited to the Nizhny Novgorod region. On June 3, within the framework of the 10th Anniversary Conference CIPR 2025 (Industrial Russia digital industry) a ceremony of awarding the winners and prize-winners of the International IT Olympiad will be held. Finalists will enjoy cultural and entertainment programs, an introduction to the educational ecosystem of the Nizhny Novgorod region, and Nizhny Novgorod city tour, which is considered one of the Russia's leading scientific and technological centers.
